NCF Stone is designed to be used specifically with natural stone such as granite and marble, especially light-colored varieties of granite which are prone to discoloration when too much of our NCF Quick is used. We have tested this product on a variety of these sensitive granite types, and they did not discolor even when completely soaked with NCF Stone. However, NCF Stone should still be applied as a light mist- if the parts are becoming visibly wet, you are applying too much.
NCF Stone is not intended to fully replace NCF Quick- we recommend using NCF Stone specifically with light-colored stones that may discolor. You certainly can use it with all types of stone, but this is a more expensive product per ounce, so we recommend using NCF Quick with granite varieties you know are compatible.
NCF Stone comes in an 8oz, non-pressurized bottle. This accelerator is active for several minutes, so you can spray several pieces at once if you are making multiple bonds.
